Registered under the Indian Societies Act on 28 December 2012, we proudly affiliate with Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) and the World Blind Cricket Council, upholding a commitment to excellence. Beyond cricket, CABK is a beacon of hope and empowerment, believing that blind cricket offers holistic development for visually impaired individuals. Our mission is to uplift individuals, celebrating their resilience through cricket. Join us in championing inclusivity, dignity, and relentless pursuit of excellence on this extraordinary journey. The association stands as a catalyst for profound transformation in the lives of its members, an institution whose impact extends far beyond the cricket field. Approximately 500 individuals have been touched by its guiding influence, experiencing a metamorphosis in their social standing and career trajectories.

We Commit ourselves to do this by
Organizing national and international level blind cricket tournaments;
Popularizing blind cricket in the blind schools in Kerala;
Forming and maintaining a standing blind cricket team (Kerala State Team for women and men) of a national standard;
Inviting the attention of governments, social groups and market forces into the area of blind cricket promotion;
Looking after the welfare activities of blind cricket players;
Imparting other training like Computer, Communication, Presentation, Mobility, and Home Science to the players for their overall development ;
CABK Promote more girls to cricket and they could build the confidence level and they could come out from darkness of lives to light.
Aims and Objectives of Blind Cricket
- Promote visually impaired boys and girls as sports persons through active training in the blind cricket format
- Educate & enable the participants on physical & mental strength that are crucial to face any challenge in sports as well as in social life
- Promote blind cricket as a reliable sporting event for health and enjoyment
- Develop & sustain a potential battery of blind cricketers who can play from state level to international level in the future
- Focus on developing & molding the character, attitude and behavior of every blind cricketer, through dedicated mentoring & coaching process
- Inspire self-confidence & channelize the potential of participants as worthy citizens contributing towards nation building
- Inculcate competitive spirit whereby the participants can fight in any competition or in their normal social life
- Develop team spirit, cooperation and decision-making capacity – an integral part of a successful career and social life
- Encourage orientation and mobility in real life situations, so as to make every participant independent for improving their self-confidence and opting to do activities without the help of an escort
- Conduct Personality Development programs by inviting expert coaches and mentors
- Impart Life skill trainings for future success in participants’ professional career
- Enable participants with technical training; With a special focus on computers, smart phones and additionally introducing other gadgets which will facilitate the visually impaired with their routine lives
- Inspire all participants with the success stories of experienced blind cricketers, who head CABK and spread the message that such initiatives do help participants to be successful and happy in their respective lives
- To conclude, the entire process is a 360° approach to make every participant of the program, a stronger, sharper & smarter individual, who can live their lives independently AND with a purpose
